This is a simple yet effective fix for a split pipe, commonly found in the bonnet hinge area. It also includes an optional 20cm length of tube in case of a section of tube being damaged.
The OEM corrugated hose is constantly flexing when opening or closing the bonnet or the hatch. Over time these inevitably split and leak.
Our inline adapter will fit very tightly and repair your hose at a fraction of the time and cost of replacing a new hose. There are two methods that we have found that have proved succesful, dependent on whether the patch tube is required or not.

First Method (where patch pipe is required)
Simply cut the pipe at the damaged section, then insert our connector into both sides of the patch pipe (cut to length as required) and connect to the existing corrugated pipe. We have found during our tests that there is no need for a cable tie on the connector to existing corrugated tube end and that the fit is very tight.
Second method (if the patch pipe is not required, i.e clean break in one section of the existing corrugated pipe)
Simply cut the pipe at the split and insert our connector for a fast and reliable fix. This connector has proven to be the best, most cost effective connector available for this particular job.
This method should provide a fast and reliable fix at a fraction of the cost of getting a complete new oem pipe fitted. The connectors provided have proven to be the best, most cost effective available for this particular job.
