Note:
The firmware must be updated before starting the installation. CarPlay/Android Auto compatible USB hubs may not be recognized if an older version of the CMU software is used. The software must be v70.00.21 or later. If not be sure to update the software. Once the CMU is connected to a CarPlay/Android Auto compatible USB hub, the software cannot be updated.
Also before starting, turn off the car, then remove the nav "SD card" and leave the SD card out of the car until the final files are installed, then turn off the car again, and insert the SD card. Then start the car. Navigation will work properly when using CONNECT.
